This is how we all support each other.... also, if you are out with a few friends at a show with a few bands, each of you sign up with a different band or musician or bar or whomever... spread it around.

Free memberships (Free Member) allow you to buy music and/or comedy using a credit or debit card.
You will receive a Protected Music File that stores your purchased music and allows you to download your purchases to any devices you wish. This music file also stores and protects your purchases...in case your device is damaged and you need to re-download them again at a later date... once your tracks or albums are in your Music & Comedy File... they are yours forever... you own them.
However, with Free Memberships, you do NOT receive a Personal Profile Page or an Onsite Account (to avoid Transaction and Handling charges) or a Referral Code (to make money with our profit sharing commission system) or any of the many other perks that come with a paid membership...(see them below).

An Email account that is secure and that you can't lose or forget (a big provider is best... gmail, hotmail, yopmail, etc...) and a password (see "Security Tips" in "Make Money")
A URL for your Performance or Intro Video... you will need a Channel (YouTube, Vimeo, etc) to post your video(s) on... so IMM can link to them.
If you are an Artist... all the MP3's you want to upload... Keep in mind that... at this time... IMM only allows a total of 300 minutes of tracks to be uploaded to any one Profile Page... you may however purchase another 300 minutes for $40... (see the option in "Manage Tracks" in your Dashboard).
Album and/or Profile Pictures (500 X 500 px)... a Profile Page background picture (410 X 1366 px).
FYI: IMM has photo galleries for the Profile and Background pictures if you choose to use them.

If you have music for sale from a past band... then you MUST buy an Artists/Bands membership for the e-commerce site.

These are our Full E-Commerce accounts... only "Free Members" can upgrade their account.
This account is for "ALL"... Artists, Bands or Comedians... Cover or Commercial... that "may or may not" be working or for Hire... and/or selling Music or Comedy.
Yes... you read right... Cover Bands! ... on IMM, they can make money too... read "Make Money"... this is how we finance their first Albums.
There are 7 categories in this membership. It is up to you to decide which one is right for you... they're pretty much self explanatory but we will explain them below.

If your name starts with an individuals name, such as... "John Snow & the Avalanche"... then you are a Solo Artist.
If your name is a Band name, such as... "The Avalanche"... then you are a band.
If you are a band that just does a Tribute Set with your regular sets... then you are a Band.
If you or your Band exclusively tributes another Artist or Band... then you are a Tribute Band.
Make sure you choose the correct one, because IMM does not give refunds.
This is pretty much self explanatory.
IMM defines "Creators" as... "Computer generated music by non-performing entities".
IMM feels that this is a great new field of music creation with amazing possiblities and deserves a place of it's own right here with the rest of the Artists... and the Creators themselves need a place to be found quickly and effectively.
We can see a future where our different Artist categories work together, and the only way for that to happen is if we all are in the right place to be found.
Like all other Members... Creators will keep to their specific category. You don't want to risk losing your membership for listing in the wrong category...
Lets see what Creators can do with this new technology and Category. It does sound pretty promising, but please stick to your category... it is the only way the site can find you.
IMM defines "Superstars" as... "a Financially Secure Artist with a large fan base and sales". IMM reserves the right to decide which members fall into this category.
This membership has No Commission System but does allow the Artist to make 100% back on their sales... as well as everything else any of our members get.
Superstars will NOT attempt to make use of IMM's commission system... you will keep to your specified category.
IMM's Commission System is for Struggling Artists and Fans... so, if you really want to help... bring your huge Fan Base to IMM and get them to sign up with our members. They can sign up with any of our members or... to make it easy... all they have to do is click on "Join IMM" on the front page of IMM... the site will automatically insert one of our members referral codes, from either Artists-Bands, MVS or Fans and they will receive their 15 free songs and 10% off their first year.
If you have achieved a certain amount of fame, but are still struggling financially... then you are NOT a Superstar.
IMM reserves the right to cancel or progress a member to "Superstar".

A member can make as much money as they want on Donations and Track & Album Sales and their membership fee will remain the same.
The only time the cost of a membership goes up, is if the member is extremely successful with Commissions.
The renewal Referral Commissions also rise with the cost of a membership.
EG: If a member earns more than 5K in Commissions in their previous year then the renewal cap for the next year is $100/yr ( Referral Commission = $5.00)....payable at the end of the following year... for more than 10K...then $200/yr (RC = $10.00)...more than 15K...then $300/yr (RC = $15.00)...more than 20K...then $400/yr (RC = $20.00) ... topping out at $500/yr at the 25K level (RC = $25.00)... after this there are no more increases to the membership pricing... see "Make Money".
As you can see, Businesses, Labels, and Agents, cost and commissions don't change until they cross the more than 10K level.
As most of the monies taken in at IMM goes to improve the site and help the artists, this is how our more successful members help the less successful ones.

Because we are a Canadian based company... Stripe has a policy that charges any members outside of Canada (International transaction) an additional "0.8% International Card Fee" (in addition to 2.9%) when joining IMM or when making deposits or withdrawals to their Onsite Account (Wallet)... This cannot be helped.
This is why we recommend you use your Onsite Account (Wallet) to make purchases. This way there are no Gateway charges at all.
